Add one more item to the growing list of things we can do with our smart phones. San Francisco-based QuickPay is working with parking providers in private garages, city streets and valet services. According to QuickPay chief executive Barney Pell, users of the app will be able to “pay with credit cards at facilities that normally take only cash, bypass the cashiers, skipped taking tickets or worrying about lost tickets, and get e-mail receipts.” Right now this service is active in California with the first East Coast location open in Boston.
